Following his departure from engine and accessories sponsors Modelix, former 1/8th Nitro Buggy World Champion, Robert Batlle has teamed up with Italian company Picco. The record Spanish national champion will power his Mugen buggies using Picco’s competition nitro engines and he has the following to say about the deal:











The TORQUE .21 EMX-GT CER touring racing engine has been designed to fit the latest 1/8th GT chassis. The Torque .21 EMX-GT engine comes with a long stroke concept to improve even more low and mid range acceleration. 
The components have been 'hand modified' by Edoardo Picco using his extensive experience and thousand of hours of testing.
This EMX engine has a known reputation for it's great fuel mileage, while producing great performance and great reliability.

, hand modified rear back plate for improved fuel flow, lightened CNC machined piston made from high percentage silicone alloy billet, large size finned turbo combustion chamber insert for better heat dissipation, bigger ultra light weight cooling head, ceramic Swiss quality 14mm main bearing and a composite slide carburetor with venturi inserts.
